Dancesport Club Lumets

Welcome to Dancesport Club Lumets.

We offer standard and latin ballroom dance classes to students of all levels and ages, from total beginners all the way to competitive dancers. We also offer private lessons. With Lumets you can take dance classes just for fun, or you can prepare for the exciting heights of competitive dance. Our classes include latin and ballroom dances, children's dance, competitive dance, couples dance, and street dance.

Our aim is to provide high-quality, pedagogically designed training to children, young people and adults, carried out by one-of-a-kind professionals in the field.

Note! Lumets is currently accepting dancers for all classes. First-timers in all beginner and advanced groups are welcome to try out a class free of charge. We accept new students mid-season. 

Competitive ballroom dance at Lumets

At Lumets, we take special pride in our exceptionally high standards of training. We pay particular attention to our beginners in order to ensure that they gain the necessary foundational skills before increasing in ability. Our experienced professional coaches are here to support and guide you, from your very first dance steps to your future leaps and bounds.  

We have two full-time professional ballroom dance coaches at Lumets: Merje Styf and Luca Rossignoli, who is Technical Director of the club. Luca is well-known in the dance community for writing a technique guidebook for the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). WDSF’s technique books are used as training materials by dance teachers and competition judges all over the world. 

We are located in Helsinki and Espoo and accept Tyky, Smartum, ePassi and Edenred.
